Emma Sage was welcomed into our world on May 9, 2001. She was born at home, delivered by her Mommy in the bathtub, while her Daddy was nervously on the phone with 911.

She was 9lbs 2.6ozs and 21inches long at birth.

Emma Sage is a very healthy, happy, sweet, beautiful baby who brings with her a special gift....Emma Sage has Down syndrome.

Katrina Leigh and Greta Elizabeth are her big sisters and her big brother is Otto Richard.

She is the light of our lives.

Emma means *one who heals*
Sage means *one with great wisdom*

Emma Sage has already lived up to her name and will continue to heal and teach those around her the true meaning of life.

This is Emma Sage at three. She is such a delightful little girl. She just radiates happiness and is so much fun to be around.

Emma nurses wonderfully. At 11 weeks, Emma weighed 12lbs 11.4ozs. Today at three she weighs 28 lbs. and is still nursing. She is a very healthy and active little girl.

Our Little May Blossom

This is a picture of Emma Sage that her sisters took of her when she was 2. We used this picture for our T-shirts for the New York City Buddy Walk.

This is the picture that was used in the NDSS Buddy Walk video that appeared in Times Square. When Emma Sage saw herself on the big screen, she yelled "That's me....That's Emma Sage!"

Emma Sage is so excited about Santa and Christmas coming....she delights in all the trees, lights, music and Christmas decorations she is starting to see in the stores. When she sees Santa Claus she says "HoHoHo....Santas coming!"
